Safari Overview
This 03 days Masai Mara flying safari gives you convince and ease by saving you long hours of road travel. This gives you plenty of time to enjoy the exciting game drives and the gently rolling African savannah plains. You will be picked from Jomo Kenyatta International airport or at your hotel, transfer to Wilson airport after holding a safari briefing. The scheduled flights take approximately 01 hour. On arrival at the local airstrip in Masai Mara you are met by Leylani Holidays representative, enjoy your first game drive enroute to the camp or lodge. This is a shared transfer with other guests. On arrival at the camp we check in and settle in before enjoying a sumptuous lunch followed by sometime to relax and settle in.
At around 4pm we depart for our first real game drive. You will see a frequent amount of wildlife such as Masai giraffe, baboons, warthogs, bat eared foxes, grey jackals, spotted hyena, topis, impala, hartebeests, wildebeest. Elephants, rhinos, buffaloes, zebras and hippos, abundant birdlife are also found in great numbers. It is also common to see lions either basking after a heavy meal, or surveying the plains for their next meal. Cheetahs and leopards are harder to spot, but reasonably common.
On day 02: We rise up and after an early breakfast we depart with picnic lunch boxes for a full day game drive including the Mara river where the wildebeest and zebra migration takes place.Masai Mara is home to the great Migration, in July and August when millions of these grass eaters move north from the Serengeti in search of lusher grass before turning south again in October to December
Day 03: After breakfast check out. We will do a game drive enroute to the local airstrip for our scheduled flight to Wilson airport. On arrival you are met and transfered to Jomo Kenyatta International airport for outbound flight
